Elongated, smooth pods with a waxy texture that ripen from pale yellow-green to orange and finally red. Retains the fruity, floral, tropical flavor of habaneros but bred to carry only mild heat. Developed at Oregon State University by Jim Myers with Lane Selman for early maturity and adaptability to temperate climates.
